I repeat, BUY. The demos knock peoples' socks off. My friend hadn't cleaned her oven in six years, so it was pretty impressive. It is an enzyme based cleaner, and works great- but the downside is that you have to get it through a Norwex consultant and it is 30 dollars. However, I recently hunted down some home made alternatives, and pinned 'em on pinterest. Check out my "domestic bliss" board. A quarter cup of baking soda mixed with enough water to make it a paste apparently gets the job done well. Spread it on and leave it for twenty minutes. I also found a DIY on how to make enzyme cleaner at home (also pinned it). It seems to be made out of the same stuff that Norwex uses- but it has to brew for three months before it is usable. The live enzymes are what eats away the grime, and they've got to build up. It is made from citrus peels, fruit scraps, brown sugar, and water. According to reviews the stuff works fabulous, and I'll probably start a batch as soon as I hit the grocery store. I need a juice bottle to cook it up in. I love home chemistry, I really do.
I had a hard time giving up my scrub n bubbles too. I think it's because those little scrubby guys are so cute. Still, I gave most of the stuff to my cousin. Oven cleaner and drain cleaner are usually the nastiest shit in the house, but we didn't have any of that around. The smell of oven cleaner makes me gag, so I never cleaned the inside of my oven. I continued blogging, because it helps my thought process with a lot of things. Unfortunately, after I moved back to my hometown, I realized that most of the people I had been friends with I really couldn't be friends with anymore. I've got one friend that I see regularly, and then I see my mom and cousin, but that's about it. I feel like I've been spending wayyyy too much time on the internet, and don't have enough contact with real people. Trouble is that we've planned on moving for a while, and hope to move back to Florida in September or October. I never put effort into making new friends here, because I saw it as a temporary living situation- even if it will be two whole years by the time that we move.
I feel like I rely too much on my boyfriend (and the internet) for all of my socializing, and we were actually talking about it last night. I really just want to move and be settled so that we can start our own life together. I don't feel like we should stay here, so it's kind of like being in limbo.
I also wish that I lived closer to the people that I blog with so that we could hang out in real life. It's tough to find non-trifling bitches out there in the real world sometimes, ya know?
So I vote for Florida when you move. ;)

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00924024976077811592noreply@blogger.com
