Good morning! Yes, I'm writing again after just posting last night. I know, I know -- too much too soon. LMAO J/K!
Weight this AM was 195.5. So, already I am starting to see a downward trend after just a couple of days. VERY happy for that! We'll see how well I can do by Sunday. I'm hoping that by Sunday, I will be down another pound. Two would be nice, but I guess I won't count my chickens until they're hatched! But I can hope, can't I? I can hope that it was just some false pounds from a week or so of overindulgence... especially in the doughnuts department. I swear, reading these Stephanie Plum novels is what brought it on! You see, the first of the series, 'One for the Money' is coming out in theaters on the 27th. So, I had wanted to break out the ol' series and re-read it. Then once I started... well... I got sucked in and I'm on 10 now. Janet Evanovich sure knows how to write some funny and interesting stuff! I truly enjoy them! But the issue is they talk about doughnuts in them... A LOT. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but I think it was since I was more relaxed over the holiday and well... I ate a lot of doughnuts! LMAO Oh well, totally worth it. I think I got my fill for a while! But now I need to get these jelly pounds off -- cause that's what I ate... custard and jelly donuts with some lemon thrown in for good measure!
It's still hard for me to believe that it is 2012. This time last year, I was over 216lbs. My high before that was over 226. So, to be where I am now (even if I gained a tiny bit) is really good. I kinda feel like even if I only lose another 20lbs. in the next year, I am still working my way down. Of course, my goal is to lose another 20 in 6mos... or more. I'd really like to see the 160's by Summer. Even if it's the high 160's! But I will take what I can get. I don't even know if I could do it. Lemme see... to get under 170 from where I am as of this AM, I would need to lose exactly 26lbs. I'd need to lose 27.5 to get to 168. Ok, according to my calendar, I have 22 weeks until the first week of June. I could do it if I have a couple of good weeks! And minimal bad weeks. I would like to lose 2lbs. per week, but knowing my body like I do, many weeks I don't lose at all even if I am on plan like I should be. Then I may have a good loss but in the end, it usually averages out to about a 1lb. loss per week. At least since I started the 1600. I had a few months there before where I just SAT. No loss, no gain. Just... nothing. But I am not going to be bummed. I am going to continue to do the 1lb. per week as a goal and if I have 2, consider it a bonus. :D
Well, I think I am going to get off of here and read a blog or two and update my page. Seems as if it has been forever since I updated and I want to make sure my stuff is accurate. Later ladies!

I adore the Stephanie Plum books :) I can't wait for the movie...and they do talk about food ALOT! Fried chicken and donuts. I think you could gain weight just reading them :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Stephanie Plum books too!! I have them ALL (minus 18 that just came out and I'm about to get) No way she eats all the junk she does and still fits in her clothes... totally unfair.

I am really hoping to lose twenty pounds by mid June. Even if that's all I lose for the whole year, and spend the rest of the year maintaining, I'd be pretty darn happy.
