Another day, and more rain

Its another day, and I got up to more rain.  BLEH.  Sick of rain.  Sick of being stuck in the house!  But oh well, they say if the year is in like a lion, it'll be out like a lamb.  I really, Really, REALLY hope that is true!  I know it's usually applied to weather, but let's hope it applies to everything else!  LOL  Because so far, this year has been so rough.  Not just for us, but for lots of people.

So, I weighed-in today and saw 209.5.  How on EARTH could I lose 2.5lbs. in one night?  It must be water.  I would love to say it was fat, but I'm sure it's water.  That's only 1lb. from my lowest in months.  So, I think the switch has been good for me!  I know I'm feeling a bit better.  Not that I felt bad before, but I feel like a 'switch' has been flipped.  So, it's a nice feeling.  A feeling of progress.  Hopefully I can keep this feeling going even when I have stall outs.  But even for those, I have a plan.  That plan is to drop out all fruits and most veggies except for greens for a couple of days until the stall breaks.  Then to gradually add them back in.  I think I am at about 35g of carbs average per day, so that will drop me down to well under 20.  True Atkin's induction!  Here's to not having to do that for at least a month!

I already hate my background -- Gladiola.  Just seems too damn perky!  But I'm not sure which background I could go to.  I wish there were more options or even a way to design your own.  But you see, I'm not too savvy at this blog/webpage stuff, so I would still need help.  LOL  Back in the day, I had issues with just plain ol' MySpace!  But oh well, not biggie.  I'll deal and find something.

Not much else to comment on other than the fact my exercise has been sucking.  I just can't manage to eek out the time to walk for an hour every other day.  Not to mention the exhaustion.  So, I am thinking that even if my endurance suffers, I am going to have to try to just do 30mins.  If I can do a mile or so (walking) then that would have to do.  Then maybe a couple of days a week reach for an hour.  Otherwise, I'm not going to get it in at ALL and well, that's no way to get in shape for a 5k.  It's just that between no sleep, grumpy baby, hubby's crazy schedule and school, and then my lack of drive past 8PM, well, something has to give and it's the length of time.  I guess half an hour every other day is better than nada!

I guess that's it.  More another day!  Oh, I guess one other thing.... I do tend to blog a lot.  We've moved a lot over the last decade (but not as much as many), and so I've gotten use to doing most things on-line.  And as I wrote a long time ago, I get tired of talking to people who don't get the whole weight thing.  So, I will probably post more than most because it's my only way to talk and vent without annoying people.  And even though we have been in this area for about 4yrs., I still haven't made many 'real life' friends.  The transition from military to civilian has been harder than I ever thought it would be.
