Thank you ladies for all the wonderful comments -- I swear, I'm becoming dependent on this site for friendship. LOL I get so excited to get on here and see comments. Makes my DAY! So, I thought I'd answer any questions/comments since I am up. I should be in bed... it's 1AM! But I will be heading there shortly.
@familyaffair -- Yeah... I love me some red meat! I'm a meat eater by nature and then when I discovered that low carb worked so well for me, it was like a sign from Heaven! LOL I just ordered half a cow not too long ago. teehee SO much cheaper and healthier than the store! Not to mention, the whole 'chicken is better for you' thing really isn't true. Chicken and beef (calorically speaking) are only off by maybe 40 cals. Fat and protein are almost even. And it really depends on the cut and type of beef. Not that I eat it a ton, but still. I don't disregard it on that basis. I'd say in a normal week I eat it 2 times. Once as steak and once as hamburger meat. I wish I ate more fish. I just don't. I'm not sure why -- we love the stuff! My issue is I like fish best RAW! Oh sushi, how I love thee! No fishy smell that way. LOL
@ArEyBee -- Oh my, YES! Make sure you are ready for kids when you have them. I love my boys, but there are days where I want to rip my hair out by the roots!!! It's sad, but I sorta understood when Britney Spears shaved her head. She was losing control over everything, but she could control that! But when the time comes and you're ready, you'll know. If not, there's nothing wrong with not having kids. We have lots of friends who chose not to have them -- married and single. Just cause it works for me doesn't mean it's for everyone. But who knows, some day you may enjoy poopy diapers, 1AM feedings, and screaming tantrums because they come with baby giggles, hand-made Mother's Day cards, and lots of slobbery kisses and big hugs. :D
@All you sassy ladies -- I didn't make the salad. :( Hubby decided chicken was where it was at so we had chicken and fresh zucchini and squash sauted in sunflower oil with a bit of parsley and S&P. YUMMERS! I DID have salad tonight of the caesar variety. I guess we will see how the ol' tum tum is tomorrow! AND, I still plan on trying that shrimp salad. Maybe I should do that tomorrow? Hmmm..... Need to eat up any fresh stuff before we leave, so that may work QUITE well!
Ok, that's all for tonight. Going to jump off of here and head to bed. I will try to write tomorrow if I have the time!
I love my blogging ladies too! Enjoy your Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThe slobbery kisses are the best ones. I love kids, it'll definitely be a serious decision I'll make once/if the right guy comes along.
