I DID IT!
Hip hurting and all, I drug my big butt on the treadmill! And believe it or not, my hip feels better. :D I only did 30mins., but it's better than nothing. I just went right down after youngest went down for his nap. I figure if I can do 30mins. of at least walking and then stretching (10 to 15mins.) and then maybe some toning at night, in the end I will end up with almost double the amount of exercise I was getting before. Because before, when I WAS working out, I was trying to do an hour just on the treadmill. And by doing that, I rarely got that hour and I never stretched or did the toning. So, my goal for now is for sure the treadmill and stretching and toning when I can. And I am shooting for DAILY. I know I won't always get it in there, but I am going to try! Eeks. Just realized I was probably only exercising 2 or 3hrs. for an entire week! No way was that even doing any good. Oh well, that was then, this is now. Let's see how the focused 30mins. does (that would equal over 3.5hrs. per week if I do every day). And we'll go from there. Sorry to post again, but I was just happy I got up and did it. :D

Physiotherapy could really help - I got it for knee and I have some helpful massages and exercises, and a good explanation.

Great job going for that run. When I'm sore, running really helps me out too!
ReplyDeleteEvery minute counts is how I approach exercise so 30
minutes is PLENTY per day.
30 minutes is definitely better than nothing! Glad your hip is feeling better. Sometimes I get random aches and pains, but they always seem to go away once I start working out again and my muscles warm up.
