just get so frustrated you feel like throwing in the towel? Or more accurately, loading some bricks in that towel and swinging it at someone's head? I'm feeling that way a bit today. And I shouldn't be. I should be happy! We're going out with friends here in a bit AND it's date night! So, I should be happy (and I am since my hair is BANGIN'!) but I'm also sitting here knowing that I can't Facebrag simply because I know my bro's gf will tell him. And why would I care? Because my nearly 40yr. old brother will call and tell on me to my Mom. No, that that I'm going out because hello, I'm 32! But because I posted it on Facebook. That's right. If I say something innocuous on FB about going out or something, his gf tells him and he immediately calls my parents and says something like, 'Your daughter is posting all of her personal info on FB again! You need to say something to her!" And once again, I have to explain to my mother that the only reason SHE can see it (the gf) is because she's on my friends list. And as of now, I have not limited my list because hello, these people are my FRIENDS!!! So, I don't care if they know I'm going out. She will then go on to say that he said friends of friends can see. Oh contrare monfrare (sp?). I have my setting to where ONLY friends can see it and NOT friends of friends who comment. So, its utterly annoying and irritating. He won't call and say anything to me -- he calls them. Holey guacamole Batman... no, make that Robin... it's time to grow up and stop 'tatalling' on your 'little' sis. AARGH!
I feel better just getting that out there. LOL
Anyways, on to another short topic today, I haven't weighed. I will eventually. Just been so darn busy the last few days! Diet hasn't been great by any stretch the last day and a half and won't be better tonight. LOL But it will get there.
On a good note, my house is lookin' sooooo good! We moved, purged, and re-arranged and I am LOVING the feel and flow! Some things were minor -- like we moved our entertainment center over about 4 inches and it made a HUGE difference! Who would've thought? Then we moved a bench from my youngest's room and it is now in our dining/living room open area for toys so you have toys, seating, and everything all hidden. WOOT! The black bench that use to be in my LR is now in youngest's and the moroccan table from downstairs is now upstairs. We also moved some chairs and so on and etc. and it just feels SO good!!! Oldest's room isn't done, but I just didn't have it in me to finish it today. But he has a new bunk bed that I plan on tweaking. He doesn't like to sleep high, so we made the upper area for his Lego's so littlest couldn't get up there and mess them up. He has his own 'cave' to sleep in under and a 'treehouse' play area! Isn't it fun being a kid? I plan on doing some painting, some chalk and magnetic paint, and then some decoupage. Plus cork and maybe some other stuff. I think it will be a lot of cool stuff. :)
Did I mention my house is pretty darn clean? LOL I guess that is understood if I have done all of this organizing, huh?
Well, I guess that is all for now. The rest of the weekend is going to be busy and well, I'm ok with that. I like being busy and having things going on when it's good things. I will try to get back on here and catch up when I can. For now, going to try to read a few blogs and then I'm off!
Wow. Just wow. Who gives a rats ass even if total strangers know that you are going out? I don't get it. Everybody posts that kind of stuff these days, and your brother and his wife must be some bored fricken people to get worked up about it. Maybe they are jealous that you have a life. It happens.
