And the number is...

179!  Not too bad after vacay and just 1 day post period.  I'm pretty happy with that, folks.  I haven't done measurements yet, but I've been talking to the hubby about the next steps and where I want to go.  I KNOW I need to get in that formal exercise.  I know it.  But what kind?  How often?  How much?  You know, those things.  What I was doing before I got burned out was working, so I really should get back to that and just keep going.  But once in a while, you really want to try something new... and that is where I'm at.  What do I want?  I kinda want to join some kind of gym with a pool so I can swim!  I LOVE riding my recumbent bike, I love walking and hiking... but I also love swimming.  And I know I have a few options here so I think I am going to look into it.  With the hubb's crazy schedule, I know it may be hard, but some of them have child programs that I think would be really fun for my kiddos.  Prices seem to be pretty awesome and turns out, there is a YMCA literally behind my house!  I knew they were building a new one, I just had no idea it was going to be THAT close -- think I should check that out and SOON!  I don't know what else I would want to do there, but I could always just check it out and see what options there are.  I really have nowhere else to swim here -- there's no community pool and we don't have a pool.  Or I would just do that.  Kinda wish we had one.  *sigh* 

Anyways, making progress, thinking and wondering.  Hopefully I figure it out soon.

  1. If you haven't exercised in a while, I would definitely consider taking it easy and easing into it. My boyfriend is doing 20 min a day elliptical followed by stretching and some weights. He's going to build from there. I think they important thing is consistency. He's hoping to make it a habit.
